McMaster’s Office of Community Engagement offers small catalyst grants to McMaster University faculty, staff, students and their community partners through the Community-Campus Catalyst Grant Fund. The Catalyst Fund supports new partnerships that align with the goals of McMaster’s Community Engagement strategy.
McMaster is developing programs and supports to make it easier for academically qualified students from under-represented groups in the Hamilton and surrounding communities to access university education at the undergraduate level.

CityLAB works with city staff members to identify complex challenges and matches them with faculty and courses from Hamilton’s three post-secondary institutions: Mohawk College, McMaster University, and Redeemer University College.
