The Women of Distinction Awards hosted by YWCA Hamilton stands as the preeminent and largest celebration recognizing the achievements of women and girls in Hamilton and Halton.

Bianca Mammarella
Bianca is a fourth-year Integrated Science student specializing in Biology at McMaster University, and is set to graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) along with an Interdisciplinary Minor in Community Engagement, and a concurrent certificate in leadership, equity, and social change.

Oyin Aderibigbe
Oyin is a third-year student at McMaster, and is a passionate changemaker focused on community building and youth engagement. As a former CityLAB SIR student, she conducted research addressing health disparities in newcomer and low-income populations.

Sashaina Singh
Sashaina is OCE’s very own Senior Manager, and is dedicated to improving Hamilton by collaborating with diverse community members. In her role and external positions, she leads, advocates, and advises on community engagement and equity initiatives.
